Commissioners Allege DA Violated State Conflict of Interest Rules
The personal history between Dallas County District Attorney Craig Watkins and the Dallas County Commissioners Court is anything but placid, as evidenced most recently by Watkins' request to see Commissioner Maurine Dickey's correspondence regarding the 2011 budget for his office. The Commissioners Court responded by hiring an outside attorney to determine whether Watkins violated any state conflict of interest rules with his request.
